The resort of Bormio is really nice and wherever you stay you are no more than 10 minutes walk from the gondala. The skiing was amazing, and the snow was still in good condition even in April. I quickly picked up skiing within the first day due to the amazing ski instructors, they are really polite and great teachers. Bormio is great for intermediates. Would really recommend here and i will be looking forward to going back in the future

Brixen im Thale is a small and quiet village in Tirol. Brixen is part of the Skiwelt area: a series of interconnected pistes shared between 8 villages. Via Westendorf you are able to ski all the way to Kirchberg/Kitzbuhel and Pass Thurn. All slopes are well served with cosy Huts for meals or Gluhwein. Village night life is limited to the hotel, nearby Kegelbhan (bowling) and a couple of local bars. There are a few large apres ski bars at the gondola station.

Loads of red and blue cruising runs. Short transfer – 1 hour from Salzburg. Everyone in resort was very friendly and helpful. Clearly a genuine local resort used by Austrians and Germans. Main run down from the Grafernberg to Wagrain is a great long run. The costs here were very reasonable. For 12 Euros you could get a large lunch with main course , dessert and drink., where the same in the 3 Valleys would cost at least 25 Euros. Cons: There are only a few really tough runs and…
