It is a great resort for a short break. Busy resort with the main red runs down to the station in particular being almost unskiable at any speed. Locals acknowledged that a lot of development at the resort in recent years has added to the number of visitors but with no corresponding increase in uplift capacity or runs. The cable car from Vigo takes you to a limited but pretty ski area that descends through the trees either to Pera or back to Vigo. We have not tackled the Tomba black yet but the red run back to Vigo is fantastic fun as you sweep around the many wide curves. The other reddish blues here are great for getting your ski legs back and again, are great fun. It is a good area for beginners to gain confidence and experience. Very good ski-area for families. Payable. Impressive mountains around. Good reachability. Excellent skischool. No nightlife.
