Zermatt is wonderfully vibrant town. Downtown is filled with bustling shops, exquisite restaurants and lively pubs. The town is fun, but bring your cash as it is truely the Aspen of Europe pricewise. Combined with the Italian terrain of Bruil-Cervinia and Valtournenche, it is an enormous alpine area that is completely connected. We have visited Kirchberg for the last 12 years and seen it grow from a small skiresort to what it is today: still a small skiresort BUT with a huge skiarena and the best apres ski in Tyrol! It hase something to offer for everyone: beginners, intermediates, advanced, hikers and party animals. Kirchberg is still a typical Tyrolean resort.
