Top-rated ski resort reviews

Well it's certainly beautiful and there is lots going on. It is very spread out however and I wouldn't go without a car. Great resort for beginners / intermediates but very few reds. Quite a few button lifts for boarders but overall well worth a visit. We usually ski in places like St Martin de Belleville and Vaujany. It has all that these two places can offer PLUS a great , atmospheric and vibrant town.

Gezellige dorpskern met alle mogelijke winkels en eetgelegenheden. Oude kern autoluw en meestal autovrij. Uitstekend locaal vervoer, zowel per dorpswijk als met omliggende dorpen. Veel mogelijkheden voor langlaufen, maar ook voor wandelen, sleetjes en bucursies (bijv. Salzburg). Unieke combinatie. Steile en vrij drukke maar uitgebreide en interessante pistes, voornamelijk geschikt voor gevorderden. Droger klimaat dan elders in Oostenrijk. Veruit te verkiezen boven Bad Gastein.

Montgenevre offers everything for all people in terms of the skiing...so many runs and acres of space...even skiing down into Italy was a first...Hotel Rois Mages just what we wanted and, after staying there in 2003 and returning in 2006 we reckon you can't beat it...lively ambience and used by many of the townsfolk as their local...excellent placement in town for access to slopes...all in all great...and can't wait to return in jan 2008
