Short, but many slopes on 6 mountains. Best pistes in the Kappe-aerea with 200m heightdifference and nice advanced slopes up to almost 2 kms. Not compareable with the large resorts in the Alpes, but amazing good possibilities voor skiing in a mounainreion only 600-850m high. Absolute fantastic artificial snowing, best quality ever seen!

Val Gardena has the mixture of three cultures, Italian, German and Ladino. The cultural diversity makes this a wonderful and unique ski resort. The skiing: An incredible huge ski area set among the beautiful dolomite mountains. Most intermediate skiing with some advance cruisers. While it is lesser known in Switzerland than Verbier and Zermatt, I was pleasantly surprised by Lenzerheide-Valbella. The area offers skiing on either side of a beautiful valley, making it one of the largest ski areas that I've been to. One major downside of Lenzerheide however, is the lack of mogul runs.
