Bad Hofgastein reviews

We went to the gastein valley for the last week of the UK season for this resort. Although some of the runs were worse for wear, we experienced huge dumps of snow and were able to ski almost all pistes. The pretty resort of Bad Hofgastein really sold me. It had cosmopolitan shops bars and eateries. Beautiful gardens and thermal springs in central squares. Excellent bus and rail links served the seperate areas well and the piste map detailed all the bus routes superb;y. There was an outdoor concert in the main square which in true Austrian style they unleashed an umbrella bar from a trailer and served beer, gluwein and such at cheap prices. Altogether one of the best Austrian resorts we have
