Vaujany is wonderful - linked to Alp D'Huez by state of the art lifts. Fantastic range of mountain restaurants with good food and great service. Vaujany is small but well served by discrete escalators to take you up the village levels, a fabulous sports centre with pool and hammam all funded by the hydro electric plant in the valley below which has brought the region great wealth. Highly recommended. Excellent ski school too

The 320km (200 miles) of ski trails above Davos are divided in to seven areas (Parsenn, Pischa, Jakobshorn, Rinerhorn, Madrisa and Gotschna), some of them lift-linked. Great resort, great skiing, stunning scenery. The dolomiti superski is certainly the biggest ski terrain worlwide (not the trois valees, no matter what the french say). Dolomiti superski has 450 lifts, 250 of which are connected. The sella ronda is a unique experience for skiers of al levels.You have the unique experience of making a different excursion every day.
