Random ski resort reviews

2 Alpes is a really great ski resort for families, beginnners and intermediatels. i stayed with my 2 children and whilst they were in the ski school (it was their first time) I could go and have fun. there were lots of really good restaurants and shops so even after a hard day ski-ing you could relax. the kids really enjoyed going swimming in the open air pool and ice skating too. Overall its a great resort for everyone.

Superb choice of the diffrent types of runs are the best , from on your bum green to 'what am I doing going down the black run?!' If you need to learn to ski as the first time on snow the bums were raw from the greens so a nice man sorted us out and taught us a few things, so the blues were do-able. It cost though because we did not pre book, 80 Euro for two hour lesson for two. You can get it cheaper online so look for good deals. Do your homework, 40 Euro difference but after all…

Ive been to Winterberg several times in the last three years, it is the best place to go for a short trip (one or two days) if you live in Holland, Belgium or the north of Germany. It can be very crowded though, so its best to go on weekdays. And also, check if there is snow before you go. There are a lot of restaurants in the village as well as on the slopes. Furthermore there have been some renovations and now four chairlifts have been installed.
