St anton probably has the most reliable snow in austria. the main ski area of st anton itself does get mogulled up, as it is where the beginners tend to congregate. much better to take the time to ride to rendl, only a rope tow and brief traverse away, or better yet zurs, lech and stuben (via st christoph - a fun little run on its own). just s a bit at the end of the day when your legs are tired if you have to ride down the moguls of st anton to get home again. overall this resort is…

Very pleasant resort with relatively easy access to slopes. the slopes for the experienced skier can be limited but for families or those wishing to learn it is an ideal place. great for mixed ability group. we used the wilder kaiser ski school, which was excellent! very positive, keen, progressive instructors and particularly good with our fast teenagers! all in all a good value resort with great tutition.

Exellent for families and everybody ! very few cars, safe to walk around with kids. ski-rental at the cabin station very fast and effective, great staff, helpfull even if you do not sepak german. been there twice - great after ski places for grown ups and teenagers and more quiet places along the way from the cabin to the hotels and the center. well maintained ice rink for skating if the kids get tired of skiing. good slopes for a beginner on the board(my babysitter), wonderfull 7…
