Alpe dhuez was a lot better than i expected. There were some really good pistes which I imagine would have been excellent if the snow was a bit better. Off piste was amazing for the first half of the holiday but unfortunately turned too icey towards the end. the night life was absolutely excellent and there was loads of choice-prices typical of french alps unfortunately.

Mooi skigebied. Het mag wel gezegd worden dat de skiër die een wat grotere uitdaging zoekt in Adelboden op de piste niet zo aan zijn trekken zal komen. Vrijwel alle zwarte pistes zijn ook geprepareerd en niet extreem. Het dorp ziet er gezellig uit, maar wij hebben niet geproefd van de après-skisfeer. The Courchevel collection of resorts would be difficult to beat for me. What one doesnt have, can easily be accessed at another. 2 downsides: long transfer time from Geneva; and doesnt match the Austrian atmosphere. Courchevel generally is absolutely fantastic but 1850 is very expensive. 1550 is a lot cheaper with a few nice restuarants and has a bubble lift right into the heart of 1850.
