The Titlis is a demanding mountain, but the scenery and skiing is just fantastic. The pistes are very quite through the week and very busy through the weekend. There are so many different options on the mountain, steeps, couloirs, massive ***s if that is your thing. The Jochpass area provides easily accessible off piste. Auron is great if you are beginner to intermediate. The runs are fun and varying, there are some really fun off-piste slopes too. If you have high expectations of how your winter-holiday should be, don't go to Auron. The one advantage of Auron is, it's not as expensive as Courcheval for example, but then again, it's not as big! So it really depends on what you like.

Certainly the best riding place close to Grenoble. But you need to be ready to wake up early to be the first on the slopes ! Else do not expect to find too many untouched spaces ...
