We stayed in NDB (a party of 18 - from 3year old novices to experienced skiers of 20+years) and had a great time. The snow was just brilliant and plenty of sunshine. The only negative point for us was the lack of telecabins, almost all of the lifts are drags - going right up the mountain ( a good 10 mins!). Stayed in the Sonnalp 4th to 11th March. Good food and excellent swimming pool for relaxing in after the slopes. Brilliant resort for intermediates, lots of red and steep blue slopes. Lifts are very good with no queues. Not many Brits in Hinterglemm, but lots in Saalbach. Tip for anyone staying at the Sonnalp - use the ski lockers under the nearest gondola station. I went to the slopes in Garmisch and Zugspitz areas and thought the skiing was fantastic. Even though I went at the end of the season (in March/April) the snow was still fantastic. The weather was clear most of the week with only 1 day producing challenging conditions! As a beginner i thought it would be really difficult to get used to the slopes but they were in really good condition every morning, well pisted and due to the lateness in the season, not at all crowded.
