St Anton is a fantastic place to ski on all fronts. I have gone to a lot of ski-resorts in Europe but Lech and Zurs are probably the best. Lech offers 5 star service with extra friendly people. The skiing is excellent if not the most difficult. The lift system is a dream with little or no queue's anywhere. None of the pretence you may get in some French resorts. Except from ski and snowboard, Lech and Zurs have good night-life and also very nice restaurants. I hope next year to go there again.

Stayed at the Hotel Walser very near to town & the main gondola (5 minute walk). Excellent hotel with great food, great rooms & very friendly staff. I can't fault it on anything. The ski area is a little small for intermediates but the closeness of other resorts included on the lift pass makes it worth trying. We visited Pila (beautifull) & Chamonix (awesome) which broke the week up nicely. The ski area was very uncrowded until Saturday when all the locals & ski clubs…
