Top of Pradalago lift has some great blue runs for beginners and a couple of reds. One black which is not difficult as it was wide, empty and plenty of snow. You can buy either a Madonna ski pass or an all areas pass - the difference is about 4 euros per day. Easy connections from top of Pradalago to ski down to Folgarida or across to the Cinque Laghi gondola. From the top of the Cinque Laghi gondola you can either ski down half way where there are other connections to runs on the same…

The most beautiful slopes is the catchword they use here to describe the location. I consider that true to a great extent. During our stay the slopes were always well-prepared. The quality was better than for the nearby Planai/Schladming ski resort. The slopes under Almlift and HofiExpress are ideal for beginners and children, the only downside is need to use narrow connecting ways to get there. Numerous hutten for lunch with good service.

The problem with this resort is that there is only one gondola up the mountain and one run back down which both get very crowded when the resort is busy and although when you get to the top of the mountain you can head out to the Sella Ronda and find some quiet runs, I wasn that impressed with the runs around Canazei. Canazei town is nice enough but there didn seem to be much nightlife outside of a couple of apres-ski bars and this was peak season.
