The Silvretta Arena with more than 200 kilometres of pistes is one of the greatest winter hot spots in Austria indeed in the world. Apres ski is amazing. Truly recommended!

Plenty of ski runs for people of all levels and ability. Also has loads of huts and bars scattered across the resort. Like mellau and demuls I have been going here many years and rarely run into any British so is ideal for people who want to stay away from the busier resorts. The lifts are quick and modern.

I first fell in love with Andorra in winter 2013/2014 when i had a week holiday in Valnord, the whole place is so family friendly and great access. The following season 2014/2015 i put down a deposit on a flat in Soldeu, pack my car and drove 1500 miles across 6 countries in 4 days to live out the dream of a ski season. No job sorted but i had a flat, some money and a car... or so i thought! My car blew up 20km from our flat!! Being it was a month before the ski season started there…
