Latest ski resort reviews

Been in Zell am See 5 times and love the place, we have taken lots of friends who have loved it here too. not fantastic for the serious skier but great for blues and red cruisers. The town is lovely with some great views and lovely cafes. The glacier although 40 minutes to get there is very well worth the trip providing its clear. All of the mountain resturants are great and the town has some great nghtlife too. we will never get bored of this resort.

What have I been missing out on over the years?! Well, St. Anton is a friendly village offering great hospitality. We stayed at the Alpenhof which was a family run hotel just 10 mins walk to the west of the centre - the food and service was great - it had it's own minibus for rides into town too. The food is generally of a great standard across all of the places we ate - even on the slopes. The apres ski is something else in St. Anton - the Mooserwirt from 3pm onwards is a hedonistic…

Has the obvious benefit of being able to ski the Kitzbuhel ski area without having to pay the Kitzbuhel prices. Small friendly resort, has plenty of everything you need to enjoy a weeks skiing. Added bonus of now having a link up the valley across to Westendorf giving it a much greater variety of runs for all standard of skier. Try the nightskiing on a Thursday/Friday night. Awesome.
