The skiing in Champoluc is great, but not very challenging. The snow is much the same as Zermat or Cervinia at a third of the price of Zermat and a bit more than half the price of Cervinia ! If you want apres ski, go somewhere else, but if you want well prepared pistes, fantastic scenery, great value mountain restaurants, and friendly locals, Champoluc has it all. Nice, friendly, old Austrian atmosphere. Some old lifts but long wide slopes for beginners and intermediates.

I love Kitzbuhel!!! That is all I could say but I will give a few good reasons why. Hannennkhamm (Dont know about spelling, sorry!) Can there possible be a more frightening downhill course to watch on TV and then try to ski yourself.
