Just returned from a week of skiing, love this region. It has slopes for all levels. Ischgl is maybe not the most ideal resort for small kids or families. The village is very nice, and has nice shops, but they are pricey. Apres ski is available in all shapes and forms too. Great nightlife, many beautiful people. Going again next year!

There were hardly any queues at the lifts and all personnel were so friendly. There were plenty of restaurants and bars, if so inclined, and also fast food for a quick and reasonable lunch snack, as opposed to the higher priced mountain restaurants. Had a really good time; plenty of snow. Val Thorens is higher than the tree line with no natural barriers…
