Latest ski resort reviews

Great place to enjoy casual skiing and true Alpine atmosphere. Lots of accommodation types - I always stay at Pension Sabine because of its location and ambiance. Working on my 10 year pin ... soon come! Guess that sums up how much I enjoy the area and look forward to my yearly vacation in the Vorarlberg.

Brixen in a small place and has no real heart, its just a main road running through it. The skiing was plentiful for an intermediate skier, the pass covers you for the Wilder Kaiser. There isn't much in the way of apres ski, but I would reccomend Pa Pa La pub, the staff there were very friendly and funny. Overall I would say brixen was OK, I would go to that region again, but stay in a different resort.

Being a beginner, found it a great first resort. there are fantastic easy pistes for beginners and quite a few for the more experienced skier. The lifts are modern and are positioned well. The Skischule are very helpful for kitting you out and getting you started on the slopes. Also, the Zugspitze Mountain is close by. You can take a cable car up to the top, 2695m above sea level, where there are some incredible views. There is also a restaurant and another cable car to the Zugspitze…
