Traditional pituresque Austrian village with a very good snow record for the altitude. We have been visiting the Hotel Unterhof for over 10 years, and love the hospitality and atmosphere that this hotel provides. Lunch or Apres-ski at the Happy Filzmoos is great and perfectly situated to sit and watch the kids ride up and down the nursery slopes while the adults enjoy a welcome beer. The resort is at it's best for families or beginers/intermediates, and the resort can be skied in a day or so, but to a certain extent this misses the point. There is an excellent ski safari for guests at the Unterhof, where Marcus takes you on a very short transfer to one of the many local slopes. Within 15/20

I had a great time in Filzmoos. This year it struggled with the lack of snow but to be honest the conditions were still good and my last Saturday there was fantastic with a beautiful day and hardly anyone on the slopes! It is a small village with lots of charm and something for everyone. The resort runs are a little limited and mainly suit beginners but the two final slopes into the resort are quite steep unless you can find the cut through the woods that brings you on the Nursery slopes for a gentle cruise in. If you want variety then there is a bus that goes to Flachau which is about 15KMs away and this is a much larger resort with a lot more variety. As far as nightlife goes the resort is
