here is over 200 km of skiing area and the lifts are all very luxurious. In the highseason it is possible that there is a cue for going up, but once you are on the mountains, you will not notice anything of the mass of people up there. One of the best things the do is make a round in the area. Just go up, choose which you you want to go and make sure that at the end of the day you have seen all 3 villages, Saalbach, Hinterglemm and Leogang.

The skiing here is absolutely fantastic, the higher runs are wide and treeless and as you ski down you're skiing beautiful tree lined runs. There are mountain restaurants dotted all over the mountains so you're never far away from drinks, food and toilets! The Austrians know how to party so come 3.30 the apres-ski bars at the bottom of the runs in both Hinterglemm and Saalbach are pumping out the music and once the gluhwein and beers start kicking in everyone is dancing inside the bars and outside in the snow. Nothing beats skiing down at the end of the day, stopping in a bar with a hot gluhwein in hand whilst standing outside dancing with the snow falling! The runs are mostly long and wid

Hinterglemm is our favourite destination by far. The village is compact, and offers views on the slopes around. The skirarena is very large with many wide and scenic blue and red slopes. The liftanlages are modern, the are hardly any drag lifts left. The apres ski scene is one of the best in Austria!

Hinterglemm is a cute little ski village in the Salzburgerland. Connected to the Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang skicircus it provides unlimited ski possibilities. Mainly for beginners and intermediates. Furthermore it is very well suited for tours and cruising. The ski arena is not very well connected though. To get from one side of the valley to the other it requires many skilifts. The apres ski and night life is very lively for such a small resort. The resort is geared towards youn people, and young families. This is a resort that will not let you down unless you are very experienced or looking for off-piste skiing.

Hinterglemm is like Kirchberg: small and cosy with a well developed apres ski scene. Hinterglemm is part of the Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Ski Circus arena. Close to 200km of slopes; mainly nice blues and reds. Excellent for cruising. The views are really beautiful here. Hinterglemm has some challenging blacks near the Schattkogel.
The connection between the different parts of the ski area is not optimal, but the efficient lift system makes it worth while.
The skicircus is mainly suitable for families and young people who like to apres ski and nightlife.
