Trouwe Tignes skiërs die we zijn, bestaat er geen beter gebied. Na 10 jaar is er geen lift die niet vernieuwd is, geen accomodatie die traag is, enkel in de uithoeken van het gebied tref je nog oude installaties aan, daar kunnen ander gebieden een voorbeeld aan nemen, Tomeuzes, Belvarde, Tichot een greep uit wat er vernieuwd is, door de snelle verbindingen, debrayable, is het heus niet zo erg dat er geen kapje over heen komt. The pistes are perfect for beginners and intermediates and it's a great place to learn to board. Ellmau is part of the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser, but it is not the best starting point. The town is lovely and picturesque - perfect for romantic evenings for two! Also, a very good resort for young families.

I have skied in Tignes for two years running and as a ski resort it is definitely my favourite. . I stayed in Val Claret which is an ideal location for exploring the area, and found the variety and snow quality to be first rate. I would have to say the skiing is far better than in Val Thorens as the final runs into VT are quite average and very busy.
