It's surprisingly well maintained for a European resort with great grooming, reasonably fast chairs, long bump runs, a lot of off piste powder filled bowls as well as a great variety of trails for all levels of skiers. I really enjoyed being able to cover miles and miles of trails each day. Furthermore, Kitzbuhel has some of the hottest nightlife of any resort I've been too.

The pistes are maintained well and the runs are varied. All the runs on the Le Corbier section of the area return to a bowl in front of the main apartment blocks bars and restaurants. My criticism is that with 5 runs converging on to the main novice area it can be disconcerting for beginners with boarders and skiers whizzing around you. There is a lot of off-piste skiing when the top of the mountain is accessible. Due to the heavy snow it was closed for three days due to avalanche…
