Ive been coming here for years. Never fails to impress. Lech-Zurs is probably the best destination for off-piste and free-nature skiing in Europe. Make sure you do the Weisse Ring. Will be interesting when Warth is connected in 2013/2014.

I like Gerlos resort and its slopes because they have a very laid back, relaxed atmosphere to them. Many of the slopes are sunny throughout the day, the views are great, so you can cruise on the slopes, then sit back, sunbathe and enjoy the view, then ride some more. Gerlos is a very nice place to take a relaxing "break" after riding some more demanding Zillertal slopes, like Hintertux.

The slopes are often empty as there is such a vast area to ski in. the village itself is quite and has ample places to stay and eat. Apres ski in the Rundel, Silver Bullet and surrounding bars is always very hospitalable. Highly recommended
