We went to Obertauern from 13-20th Jan 07. We stayed in the Rigele Roy. which was very comfortable and good value. I loved the indoor-outdoor pool. It's true what everyone else has says about the piste map (appalling) but the runs are great. Our group was 1 total beginner, 2 early intermediates and 1 advanced intermediate. We stayed in the most friendliest hotel ever, run by husband (chef) and wife team namely Hotel Bergzeit. The hotel is less than 100m from the new Gondola to the ski slopes. Rooms are clean, modern and shower excellent on a half board basis with food out of this world and plenty of it. The sauna and steam room is a welcome end of day relax and is !!! Het beste skigebied van oostenrijk met mooie grote piste's sneeuw zeker tot laat in het seizoen de liften zijn lopend te bereiken en de ski's laat je bij de skilockers onder aan de lift. verder heeft t gebied lange brede afdalingen, de frommes abf. niet binnen 10 min. te skieen. De pezid baan (serfaus)is voor de Craks super zwart tiefschnee en dat in eind maart! Verder allemaal moderne skiliften.
