8th season in Waidring. Excellent uncommercialized resort. Very friendly people, with a warm welcome at the hotel. Skiing good,Steinplatte has runs to suit all levels of skiers,some red runs as challenging as black runs in other areas. Hausberg good for beginners before going to main ski area. You can also get the ski bus to other ski areas near by. Ski school tutition excellent. Snow boarders welcome. I can recommend the Stallenalm for lunch and Zardinis for apres ski.

Excellent ski area for off piste and on piste people, We had some trouble with the links between the various resorts in the Four Valleys area and would probably not recommend skiing all the way over to Thyon, as there are lots of T-Bars and buttons to contend with. However the amount of skiing in and around Verbier is very good. Chamonix heeft een vrij groot en tamelijk hoog skigebied. Nadeel is wel dat het uit verschillende subdomeinen bestaat, die je afzonderlijk meestal binnen een dag wel gezien hebt. Dat betekent dat je vergeleken met de meeste andere Franse skigebieden vrij veel tijd in de skibus doorbrengt. Voor beginners is het verder een nadeel dat de meeste dalafdalingen zwart zijn.
