Pretty little village! I find this still an expensive ski resort. This is a place for families and not one for the younger crowd. This resort has a great ski schule and the slopes are good for beginners. The slopes are north facing and are across the valley. The lifts are not convenient to the village so you have to take a bus if you are skiing.

Tignes is about the best Alpine bet. It has good snow guaranteed untill May. Tignes is one of the best areas in the world for lift-served off-piste runs. There is a huge amount of varied terrain, with swift access to Val dIsere

Kaltenbach is authenic village in the beautiful Zillertal and part of the skiregion Hochzillertal. The skiregion is perfect for families, beginners and intermediate skiers and snowboarders. We loved Hochzillertal very much and we will return in 2014.
