A lovely resort. Much prettier than expected from the report. Very much chalet developments rather than any ugly higher buildings. The skiing is superb in one of the largest ski areas in europe - something for everyone. Easy access to Avoriaz which is very high but does tend to get a little crowded - more fun to head around the nearby swiss resorts. The snow park at Super Chatel is good with some fun jumps. Good restaurants and a friendly atmosphere - we'll certainly return

I've skied St. Anton ten times now and am considering a different resort. However, nothing that I research seems to compare! The skiing is supberb! The area is vast and the off-piste enough to challenge even the expert skier (not myself!). The pistes tend to be more taxing than other European resorts and it's not really a beginner friendly resort. As for the mountain restaurants, Rendl has nothing to write home about, but on the main ski area you'll find some great ones! If you follow…
