A very badly planned resort. The two parts of the resort (Super Chatel and Linga/Pre la Joux) are not directly linked. The free bus services do not stop close to the lift system, esp at Super Chatel, which means a very tiring 200m walk uphill before you even start to ski. And the buses stop at around 5.30pm, and not a taxi in sight. The slopes are a nice mix of greens, blues, reds and blacks. The flat narrow blues are even more difficult than the reds. Queueing is rare, and the slopes are fairly uncluttered. Links to the whole of Portes du Soleil region comes as a welcome escape from the Chatel slopes.
