Just back from a week of good skiing in Serfaus. It's an outstanding resort for people who want to indulge themselves with outstanding food, good skiing on well groomed, mainly red runs and those who love a good après-ski e.g. in George's and in the well-known Patschi Pub. The only downsides were that the connecting runs with Fiss/Ladis were closed, due to poor snowfall in the weeks before, which made it necessary to return to Serfaus by lift and the lack of really challenging…

Les arcs is a top resort, no doubt about it. I go there nearly every year and it never disappoints - great wide runs for carving, jibs at the pisteside, nice park and loads of off piste to enjoy. Even better now is the paradski pass with la plagne, which opens up all the amazing off piste over there too. Loads of great places to eat and the nightlife is top in 1800. If you're there to enjoy yourself, stay in 1800 as 1600 and 2000 are very family orientated.
