Nendaz is a growing and friendly resort. We found the resort was best suited to adults and teenagers but not young children. Its true that Nendaz isn't the prettiest resort, but the linked ski area to which it is part of is fantastic, and getting about (as anywhere once you know where you're going) is easy. Fugen is a very good and relaxed resort. If you are looking for a place to stay with a friendly atmophere then this is the place. If you want powder go to Zell am Ziller. If the weather is too warm go to Hintertux glacier. If you want to ride the park and pipe take a ride to Mayerhofen and if you want to stress go to France!

Skiing was amazing. If you're a beginner, I'd even say have lessons before you go if you've got a dry slope nearby just to pick up the basics. Because once you're there, it can be pretty frustrating not being able to do your own thing on the slopes! I agree with someone else who commented on it being expensive, you spend as much as you've got. If you've got money to burn, go crazy!
