My husband and I usually ski in France but decided to go to Zermatt this Easter - what a FANTASTIC skiing resort. The sun shone all week. Grampi's was excellent for evening entertainment and food and drink and the ski-ing area was superb. We are intermediate skiiers and mostly skied the red slopes and a few blue - Klein Matterhorn (excellent), the Rothorn, the Sunnega, the Gornograt and the Schwarzee - no problems. Ga volgend jaar voor de 6e x naar Kirchberg en ik vind 't super!!! Mooie brede pistes, voor ieder wat wils! Ook skilessen zijn super goed geregeld, dit jaar voor 't eerst priveles gehad, en super bevallen, Ned. talige leraar die serieus met je bezig is! We discovered this little known village 4 years ago and since then it's popularity has risen rapidly as the skiing is superb, the villagers welcoming, the views are stunning and with the introduction of the new 8 man high speed cable car, very accessable. Nevertheless, Most of the lifts are out-dated. The village was very accommodating with excellent restaurants, bars, cafe's and ammienities.
