Just back from Sauze ( feb 2008) we had been once before as beginners and it was everything we remembered. The snow was fantastic and the weather even better. I was a very cautious skier at the beginning of the week but thanks to a great ski school was a much more competetent and very much less cautious skier by the end of the week. ust back from week in Obergurgl - clear blue sky for entire week, good quality snow after last fall on Feb 7th. Obergurgl is a good ski but limited ski area - myself and my 14-year-old (intermediate skiers but he's now better than me) had skied virtually the entire area by the 3rd day. Just returned from a half term break to Sainte Foy for our first ever skiing holiday as a family (kids 8 & 4). This small resort is centred around the nursery slopes which makes looking after the children very easy as they can ski/sledge all afternoon whilst you enjoy the beautiful scenery.
