Winter holidays for all-rounders!

A paradise for sports enthusiasts amidst a breathtaking setting!

The unique natural landscape and salubrious climate at 1,200 metres makes the region a vast "outdoor fitness centre", even in winter, for skiers and cross-country skiers, hikers and Nordic walkers. From early December to late March, the region invites winter sports fans to enjoy perfectly groomed slopes at an altitude of 1,200 - 2,100m and 279km of well-prepared trails, with a range of breathtaking tours and sporting challenges. Holidaymakers who prefer an alternative to skiing can explore the beautiful snowy landscape on foot: the region offers 143km of cleared winter hiking trails, tobboggan runs and numerous cosy alpine taverns where you can relax and recharge your batteries.
