Saas Fee is a highly European oriented resort, catering significantly more for German and French speaking visitors than English than any other resort I've been to. The only advantage of this resort is the guaranteed snow due to it's high altitude, but the quantity and variety of ski runs is poor, and the accesibility of the few runs that exist is similarly bad. Ik vond dit een prachtig skigebied. Wat een mooi uitzicht over de hoge Zwitserse bergtoppen. De gletsjer Plaine Morte vond ik heel erg mooi. Door het weer (de volledige week VOL zon!) was er 's middags wel wat pappige sneeuw. maar omdat wij buiten het seizoen waren was het totaal niet druk bij de liften (Je kon overal meteen in) waardoor 's middags op het terras zitten geen straf was! What a fantastic resort. Very family friendly, with superb access and facilities, with the ability to ski right out of our apartment block if we chose. The sun shone and the pistes were all open throughout the week. The slopes were busy, but not crowded and the nursery area was so simple and safe that our six year old son could learn his skills in complete safety.
