Just got back from staying at the Hohe Tauern (catered Chalet) with Crystal Ski. Fantastic accomodation, great dinners and brilliant chalet 'boys'! Would recommend to anyone...cannot speak highly of Crystal right now. Relaxed shared and clean chalet (we were lucky as the other groups were a really nice bunch, and no children in our group that week!). As for Kaprun itself, nice town. Slopes are good and well maintained (but we did have snow so to be expected I guess). Short ride to Zell…

Les Collons - what a surprise, a small village that has it all - restaurants, supermarket, ski shops and bars. But best of all linked to 410km of piste in the 4 Valleys, which some say is the best skiing in the Swiss Alps. Why ski Verbier, when there is some unbelievable off piste runs at your door step and uncrowded. Most accommodation (chalet style) is within 50 meters of the quad chair Trabanta and then you're on your way.
