A nice family resort with wide pistes and few trees. Lots of easy off-piste available between runs and serious backcountry skiers can go off the back of the mountain toward Lenzerheide: a linking lift is under development. Good for a long weekend, but not much more. The drive up there from Chur is Switchback Hell, take the train if possible. We've been crashing around the Megeve pistes for about 25 years. Huge ski area with something for everyone (& expanding with La Giettaz opening up from Jaillet a couple of seasons back and rumour of a link over to Contamine from Mont Joly in the offing ...) I've skied Megeve 4 times now and am pleased to say will be there again in mid Feb. I have never been disappointed with the resort facilities or the pistes. All ages and abilities are catered for on the slopes. Can be busy in the half term week but outside of this the slopes are yours to enjoy.
