Went to Serre Chevalier a few years back. Really enjoyed as it offers a large number of runs that cater for the intermediate. Advanced skiers will find the lack of steep runs disappointing. However it is a great place to learn to ski. The area around Chantlemerle a great place with lots of interconnecting runs. The best ski resort that i have stayed in so far. it has excellent ski slopes, snow parks and ski clubs for children. it is situated near courchevel so you can easily catch one chair up and then you can ski the same slopes you can ski at courchevel without paying all the extra cost for accomodation that you would have to pay if you were staying in courchevel. la tania may not have as many shops and pubs as there are in courchevel but there is still plenty to do and there is a…

Westendorf is an attractive village with good local slopes for confident intermediates; it is slightly off the main SkiWelt circuit, but has easy access to Kitzbuhel’s area via Ki-West. Even on a busy week there was no queuing for lifts and runs were wide open and clutter free allowing for flat out descents. Lift passes are also some of the cheapest around.
