Megeve is a proper year round authentic mountain village with beautiful scenery and buildings. The ski area is very large, split over 3 mountains. Something to suit all skiing abilities with plenty of off-piste if you know where to look. Ive been coming here regularly since 2010 and conditions have always been reliable. There have been some changes in ownership of the lift system recently with significant * coming to upgrade lifts over the next few years so things should get even better.

Megeve is a resort with little ambience. It is an expensive resort regarding what it has to offer. In restaurants in the town the wine was very expensive and prices in many of the mountain bars are astronomical. I would suggest nearby Combloux or Les Contamines.

Megeve is a beautiful place. The mountains are great, there are plenty of various slopes for all levels. Megeve is situated at low elevation and conditions can be tricky if the snow is not good. The lifts are quite slow as well. This is not the resort to go to if you like the ski-in ski-out type of holiday. There are loads of visitors there just to enjoy the town and also the mountain restaurants which can be reached without skiing. It is very expensive as well. On the plus side it is quite easy to get to and the skiing is mostly of the easy variety with great views. Apres-ski is quite quiet. To summarise - if you are looking for a hassle free holiday with good value food, guaranteed snow an

Megeve is pretty town and quite Swiss/Russian focused. The shopping is the highlight; followed by the skiing in this and linked valleys. Good skiing. The town not pumping partywise. Shops good. Pricing is not cheap, but par the course of a swanky Alps resort. Skiing flatish as the bottom, but better up top. Downside is the absence of what some might see as enough affordable après ski (not much at all) and the prices generally (many restaurants expensive and beware the prices in the Jazz Bar).

Mégève is een mooi wintersportdorp, prachtige pistes, overweldigende omgeving en erg veel leuke winkels. 's avonds komt het helemaal tot leven! Alles is wel vrij prijzig, maar dat is dan ook het enige nadeel, vind ik.
