This resort always has good snow fall, the snowpark is outstanding (particularly in the summer) and the slopes are perfect for all levels. On top of that the town itslef has a great atmosphere. The locals/staff are extremely friendly and helpful. There are an endless amount of places to eat, be they beautiful restaurants or cheap take-aways. Finally, the nightlife is fantastic. Go to Secrets bar or the Polar Bear and you can\ fail to have a great time.

The Espace Killy pass in Val d\'Isere allows you to ski all the way from Val d\'Isere to Tignes Les Brevieres. This is a huge ski area, one of which you cannot get board of in just one week. Starting at about 1850m, a few lifts and a mountain train will get you to a peak of 3650m! Meribel still is the best choice for a youngish family, with its incredibly friendly vibe, fantastic range of piste and off piste skiing, 100\'s of KM of pisted runs and 100% \'snow sure\' conditions. The resort has enough to offer the skier plenty of non skiing things to do without being too big so that you feel lost.
