Stayed in meribel last year for the first time and bought a 3 vallees pass for around 200 euros. fantastic range of skiing. apres ski and beyond in meribel is great fun but one noticeable thing was the amount of brits working in meribel. was a little disappointed not to be able to use and improve my limited french (i even bought a phrase book). the skiing in the meribel valley was great although by the end of the day the congestion and condition of the runs down were a bit of a pain.…

Ehrwald consists of two ski-areas. the one on the piste-map is nice for beginners, but very small. the other one (to the right) is actually quite nice. two parks and some very nice blue and red slopes (even a black one). if you buy a happy ski card you can visit lermoos, garmisch, seefeld and the zugspitze as well. all together enough variation for 1 week.

Lermoos is één van mijn favoriete wintersportbestemmingen. het dal van de zugspitze arena is de ideale mix van hotels, skipistes, wandelpaden en veel meer. het dorpje lermoos is gezellig en niet te groot. er zijn een aantal winkeltjes en veel restaurantjes. ook de skipistes zijn aangenaam, maar voor de topskiërs zijn ze misschien een beetje te braaf. in ieder geval, ik ga al voor de 20ste keer naar lermoos.
