Great resort, great skiing, stunning scenery. The dolomiti superski is certainly the biggest ski terrain worlwide (not the trois valees, no matter what the french say). Dolomiti superski has 450 lifts, 250 of which are connected. The sella ronda is a unique experience for skiers of al levels. You have the unique experience of making a different excursion every day. REALLY worth visiting. Just make sure there's enough snow, although extensive snow-making system is available. Highlights:…

Les Gets is a great resort, linked to an amazing ski area. Although it is on the edge of the 'Portes du Soleil' including Morzine and Avoriaz, getting around the whole ski area is no problem as the lift system is excellent. I have been to this area twice and would still go back as the area is huge. Avoid the holiday in Feb if you can as the queue's are a bit annoying - but not intolerable. Check out the mountain biking in the summer too!

Third time I have been to Zell and while this year the snow was in short supply we still had a great week (also attending our friends' wedding at the Grand Hotel). The resort is very friendly and lots to do, and this was our first time with our baby we did not feel we missed out at all. I would recommend Zell to beginners and intermediates or those who do not want to ski all day every day. A great resort atmosphere and good apres ski.
