Latest ski resort reviews

I went to Gargellen in 2006 and decided to go back in 2007. I was originally disappointed last year with the lack of on-piste skiing, but now, i've found the magic of the place. It is all about Gargellen's off -piste and ski touring areas. I spent the week with a group and a guide and we skied some spectacular off piste . Have skied in St Anton for many years and my daughter learnt to ski with the Arlberg school. She started at aged 5, and can now (4 years later) easily ski most runs in the area. Last January she did the Schindler run down to Stuben confidently. I cannot praise the kids ski school enough, in my opinion it's heaps better than France or Switzerland. I stayed at the 1950 resort in the Radisson Apartments and it is one of the most beautiful places I've ever stayed at. I'm not much of a ski resort expert, but I have stayed in some very nice places, 1950 would be in the top 3. It is a wonderful, beautiful place with some excellent restaurants. The Spirit 1950 ski and snowboard school were top notch. The people and staff were very friendly and made my stay incredibly enjoyable. Everone in m party had a fantastic time and can't wait to…
