Apres ski hot spot of Tyrol! This little town is popular with young people from Holland, GB and lately Eastern Europa because it has a lot of pubs and bars in town and on the slopes. It reasonably priced for it's hotels and guesthouses. It is not as chic and populair as it's neighbour Kitzbuhel, but a whole lot more charming. They do share the same skiarea. It's quite big too! Vallandry is great for lower intermediates and above and Les Arcs and La Plagne was easily reached. Would suggest lower intermediates take the Les Arcs/Vallandry pass as there were many easy cruisey blues on the Les Arcs side. Resort itself is quiet but the Mont Blanc bar at the Grizzly chair was good. Transfer from Chambery is a fast 1 and a half hours by mini bus although airport is very small and there were delays with other operators. We flew with flybe - very efficient.
