Latest ski resort reviews

Sainte Foy is perfect for families like us as experienced skiers with younger children, the ski school instructors are lovely and pistes are so quiet even at New Year or half term. Overall we find we get a lot more for our money here, lift pass is very cheap as is ski hire, restaurants etc... If we feel the need for some motorway skiing and the resultant crowds and queues we just jump on a shuttle bus and visit Val d`Isere or Les Arcs; they are only 20 minutes away...

Fugen (and Hochfugen) has it all! It is located opposite the main slopes. The slopes are varied, wide and have beautiful scenery. The intermediate skier will particularly enjoy this resort and there are 2 snow parks for the snowboarders. Fugen has a very friendly atmosphere and is therefore very suitable for young and active parents. Apes ski is not too bad either. The resort is very popular with the Dutch.

Serre Chevalier's ski area is very diversified. There is something for every skill level. The slopes above Villeneuve and Monetier is very beautiful, extensive and quiet. The runs from the top of Villeneuve to the bottom are fantastic with excellent groomed pistes. Once at the bottom head to Le grotte for happy hour! Also, You should try a trip to neighbouring briancon
