Courmayeur is a fantastic resort. There is something there for everyone. Although the beginners area is a little steeper than normal, as soon as your up and about there, there are endless runs to explore. Two tips, one down the back of the hill is Zerotta, great couple of restaurants with amazing views of Mont Blanc and really nice runs down. Second, the Yula, from the top in the little gondola, only a handful of people in front of you. The view is out of this world then the steep red decent back down really gets those legs working. Swing a left and cut down between the pistes to follow another sweeping red all the way down to the bottom where nobody ever really goes! Happy skiing!

I think Courmayeur is one of the most beautiful place in the word. the town is wonderful, the 100 km of slopes are beautiful and the view of the italian side of Mont Blanc, the highest mountain of Europe, is fantastic! I love Courmayeur and also all the region of Courmayeur the Aosta Valley! You have to go to ski also in Cervinia to see the matterhorn and the 350 km of international slopes!

What a beautiful, romantic, enchanting traditional old town. We stayed at a small hotel called the Meuble Laurent, everyone was so hospitable. The riding was terrific, while the resort is not huge it is large enough to keep you more than busy. On the Chamonix side there are great steep fast tree lined trails, while the upper areas offer wide open cruising trails, there are good tight treed sections to be found and lots of areas which are fun in fresh powder. You can even store your board at the top of the cable car at Plan Checrouit making the transit from the town to the slopes easy. The food was outstanding, With the cafes and restaurants in town and the restaurants dotted across the resor
