We have just returned from a week in Chamonix. The only words i can use to describe it are awesome and extreme. We are a first time skier and a one previous weeks experience skier, both female and mid thirties. We skied mainly in Les Houche, about 5 mins from Chamonix center. It was extremely good senery and ideal for the beginner and intermediate skier. ESF ski school were fantastic, spoke great english and i having only skied once before, was skiing down the to the valley on the world cup black run by the end of the week. Lift passes are available daily and reduce in price the later you arrive in the day. If like us, you wish to sample the apres ski, Wild Wallabies and Google are both exce
