Argentiere reviews

The slopes at Argentiere were good, not as long as in some places but the reds and blacks were excellent. Would not recommend for beginners. Made use of the Mont Blanc unlimited lift pass to have a day in Courmayeur and a day in Verbier as well as visiting Le Tour, Les Houches and Brevant-Flegere. Brevant-Flegere was fine but given its south facing position got slushy very quickly so only did half a day. Les Houches was possibly the best area with long runs, especially a great red on the St Gervais side where you could see the length of the valley, as well as nicer places to eat and drink. To eat would definitely recommend Le Carnotzet for Fondue and Raclette.
