Argentiere reviews

Argentiere is a quite village in the Chamonix valley. It\'s ski area, Les Grands Montets, is without a doubt one of the most challenging of the entire Alps. It is not very large but has a vertical *** of some 2100m and many off-piste possibilities. From the highest point (3275m) you can descent on a 8.5 km slope into the valley (1210m)! That is amazing. Although the Argentiere ski area counts some 35km it is way bigger if you take all the off-piste km into consideration.
