Great place to stay. Recommend staying here over Alpe dhuez. Outside esculator provides excellent access from higher parts of village to the gondalas; extremely welcome after 8 hours on the slopes. Small area above Vaujany is away from main busy areas of alpe dhuez and provides some lovely long, quiet and well groomed runs easy access to alpe dhuez ski area as long as you can ski reds confidently. Slopes getting over and back are actually some of the best around rather than just a way between ski areas. Upper slopes can get incredibly cold with a bit of wind though.
