Popular ski resort reviews

Eind maart naar St Francois, Le Grand Domaine geweest. Paar dagen ervoor had het nog behoorlijk gesneeuwd, dus sneeuw was super. Wij zaten in appartementen Hameau de St Francois in Les Arcosses III vlak aan de piste. Vanuit de skilocker op de onderverdieping 20 meter lopen en je was bij de lift. Aan het einde van de dag skieeen tot aan de skiberging. Super. Appartementen waren voldoende, niet te groot, maar dat zijn ze nooit in Frankrijk. ( Wij hadden met 4 pers een 6-persoons…

Very small only 10 km of pistes. I like skiing in this resort but in comparison with other close situated resorts its below average. Snow quality was poor due to lack of fresh snow. The last day we had fresh snow which resulted in enormous waiting lines for the lift. No great views town is ugly entertainment in other resorts is much better. The ski jump in the central part is quite interesting.

Hafjell, excellent resort for beginners and intermediates, superb snow. Teh slopes are long and flattering, no lift queues, not even on holidays or Saturdays. Lots of English spoken but still a nice friendly Scandinavian atmosphere. The instructors and staff are excellent, nothing ever seems too much trouble. We stayed in Hafjell or Hundersfossen resort near the Olympic bob run - save time on the transfer busses plus you get first morning runs and night skiing.
